Queen Elizabeth II Awards Three Young Nigerians And Other Young Leaders


On Thursday evening of 23rd June, 2016, three young Nigerians were presented with awards by Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, namely, Olanrewaju Adeloye, Olumide Femi Makanjuola and Imrana Alhaji Buba .

The awards were in recognition for raising awareness and inspiring change on a variety of different issues including education, gender equality, mental health and disability equality, according to a statement made by Queen’s Young Leaders (QYL).

Apart from the young Nigerians, other 60 young exceptional leaders received awards at the inaugural ceremony of Queen’s Young Leaders (QYL) held at Buckingham Palace London. The even will further see the Commonwealth Nations young leaders meeting other dignitaries and involving in high-level engagements to further help them in their life changing work.
